Jakarta PNS Will Go Home Early During Ramadhan

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama finally has set working hours for civil servant (PNS) serving under Jakarta Provincial Government during Ramadhan 1437 Hijri. The policy is listed in Gubernatorial Regulation No. 1348/2016 on working hour setting during Ramadhan.

"Go home early is more effective. But the working hour is still the same," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (5/1).

Every Monday until Thursday, civil servant will come to work at 7 AM-2 PM and hour break at 12-1.30 PM. As for Friday, they have to come at 7 AM-2.30 PM and hour break at 11.30-1.30 PM.

PNS Working Hours will Be Set at 7 AM-2 PM During Ramadhan

"Monday until Thursday, hour break is only 30 minutes and 1 hours on Friday due to Friday Prayer," disclosed Agus Suradika, Head of Jakarta Regional Employment Agency (BKD).

He asserted, although go home early, but working hour is still the same. All has been set and matched with the existing working hours.

Meanwhile, the policy does not applied for teacher and school guard. The working hour is set by Education Dept.
